Clients and On-camera Talent
Internal Production:
When entering the KELOTV building, clients will follow station safety policies including the wearing of masks and social distancing. Please feel free to bring your own mask but masks will be available if requested in advance.
All equipment used in production is sanitized prior to production for client and employee safety.
Sanitized lavaliere microphones with disposable, single use windscreens will be provided for those appearing on camera.
Clients appearing on camera will mic themselves or can be helped while wearing a mask by Creative Services crew also wearing mask and gloves.
Clients, if appearing on camera, may remove their mask as long as a safe distance beyond six feet is maintained during the actual recording.
Multiple talent appearing on camera at the same time must maintain safe distancing practices.
External Production:
During set-up, pre-production and production at on-location shoots, clients will maintain proper social distancing and observe all safety guidelines.
All equipment used in production is sanitized prior to production for client and employee safety.
A boom mic or sanitized wireless lavaliere microphones with disposable, single use windscreens will be used for those appearing on camera.
Clients appearing on camera will mic themselves or can be helped while wearing a mask by Creative Services crew also wearing mask and gloves.
On camera talent may remove masks during recording.
If shooting multiple talent, they must maintain safe distancing on camera.
Anyone on camera for ‘B-roll’ type shots or background ‘extras’ will maintain social distancing and wear proper safety gear including masks and gloves when appropriate, reflecting the environment we are faced with.
Release Forms: A talent release form will be provided to clients in advance of all on location productions to be filled out and returned to KELO by anyone appearing on camera including client’s employees and all background extras per KELO TV/Nexstar policy.
Creative Services Employees
Internal Production:
The wearing of masks and social distancing will remain in effect throughout the building as per station safety guidelines.
All equipment used in production is sanitized prior to production for client and employee safety.
Recording video or audio with clients at the station will be done at a safe distance of 6 feet or beyond in the studio only.
Talent will mic themselves, if able, with sanitized wireless lavaliere microphones with disposable, single use windscreens.
Creative Services Personnel may assist talent wearing a mask with mic if necessary wearing mask and gloves.
All equipment used will be cleaned upon completion of the production.
External Production:
The wearing of masks, gloves and social distancing will be in effect outside the building as per station safety guidelines.
Creative Services members will co-ordinate all pre-production thru online forms, e-mails, conference calls or other non-personal contact means.
A site survey, if required, will be conducted only if client can assure proper social distancing and safety guidelines are in place.
Creative Services team members will practice safe distancing, wearing masks and gloves during set up, working with clients, shooting and tear-down.
A boom mic or sanitized wireless lavaliere microphones with disposable, single use windscreens will be used for those appearing on camera.
Mic windscreens will be replaced and disposed of when production is completed.
All equipment used will be cleaned upon completion of the production.
