Joe L. Floyd and partners Eddie Ruben and Larry Bentson (L-R) purchase Midcontinent Company, operator of KELO radio.
May 19, 1950 – TV Application Filed
Sam Fantel Jr., President of Midcontinent Broadcasting files application for KELO-TV requesting the use of Channel 11. Applications were frozen by the FCC during this time to work out technical issues.
